The days are numbered..........  more secrets are appearing

The build progresses .......  it is now, even more than before, clear that only actually building reveals how closely the interactions build on each other.  The temporary out of balance condition must use a single foundation.  From the solid base an action is not pushed back in an opposite attitude.  

It is the use of the gravity that is pulling back down on the ascending side that makes it disappear from the weight inventory.  and the weight cannot be accounted for.

All the basic structures are on as of today.  The spacing has now been established and I have completely disassembled the entire wheel.  Hung the main body from the ceiling and slid all of the parts from the axle and reassembled everything like it should be complete with the cogged tooth belt and pulley system that will be connected to the permanent magnet alternator.  Taken about 2 weeks to complete, but I am very happy with where it is today.  The weighted arms have been completed and one is actually on the wheel.   Time is moving slowly but I am confident in my supposition of the the even number of activities that are required

No working wheel yet, but I am convinced it is only a matter of time, but for now I am still seeking, for I am

Wonderful Days of Discoveries.....  

After hundreds of hours of work and testing..... I am now      completely convinced   that the spring that is used is a coil spring that is in compression.     The harder you push on it the more resistance you encounter and the device stores that energy for release to lift the trailing weights.  The more force you put in the more you can get out

Sept 6, 2019       a glimpse  into a 300 year mystery

Each day brings new insights into the basic design.  Finally getting one system working together in harmony was a blessing of untold magnitude.  I am going to compare this effort to picking a 200 lb weight and carrying it as far as you can...... The road is long and not paved, with a pothole every now and then as well as curves and sharp turns.  But as you achieve each milestone you can see things that you could not see before.  Today, was such a day.  Each system works within itself and will benefit from an interconnectedness between another system.  BUT  the action of each system can now be broken down into zones.  Each zone of activity must be divided into separate actions that are addressed by each spring as it comes into play.

THIS IS FUN             I cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.......  I love it

The harmony of the actions as they address a specific load is really cool.

I will be bringing  a set of two identical mechanisms to the wheel soon and a lot of guessing will be cleared up.  The path to success is cloudy at times and then you come around a corner, and there in front of you lies the answer.  But you could not see it until you get around the corner.  There are those in pursuit of the working wheel  that do not actually build, and I really believe that they cannot achieve success.  The actions are so intertwined that it just does not seem likely that they can engineer, in their mind, the solution.  and then even if they can figure it out then converting that into a working wheel is a Mt Everest climb.

No working wheel as of this date, but I can see it running in my mind, but for now I am still seeking for I am a Perpetuum Mobilist.
